This fresh coriander or dhaniya ki chutney is special to Amrita as it was made every afternoon in her ancestral home in North India. It was always freshly ground in a traditional kind of pestle and mortar. Coriander is a frequently used ingredient as it is known for being high in antioxidants, while green chilli is high in Vitamin C, so this is a great, healthy addition to any meal.
1/2 bunch of fresh coriander 1 handful of fresh mint leaves 1 small, raw mango, finely diced (You can substitute mango with diced cooking apple and 1/2 tsp lemon juice, or 1 tbsp dry mango powder - amchoor) 2 green chillies Salt to taste
1. Place all ingredients in a blender and whizz until blended into a smooth paste.
