Sunita's Mint Chutney

Sunita is exclusively sharing her favourite summer chutney recipe. Her mint chutney is a go-to condiment as it is the perfect accompaniment to any meal due to it's tangy and fresh versatility. Inspired by Punjabi flavours, let this chutney transport you to Northern India.


Ingredients: 60 g mint leaves, washed  30 g coriander, washed  1/2 small red onion, peeled and chopped 1 green chilli, to taste 1 tsp salt  1 tsp brown sugar 1/2 green apple 1/2 lime, juiced 1 small, green, fresh mango (optional)

Method:

1. Put all the ingredients into a food blender, but only half the quantity of salt and sugar. 

2. Blend to a fine texture, adding 1-2 tbsp of water if required to aid the blending. 

3.  Add any extra salt, sugar and chilli to taste and blend once more until a smooth texture. 

4. Enjoy with any dish!
